What is now called the Childerley Park, a 12.7 acre land on 506 McHenry Road in Wheeling, once housed a family vital to the establishment and sense of community for the area.

Family History Month
Welcome! The month of October is the beginning of Fall. The weather gets cooler, football begins, and we see the changing of the colors of the leaves on trees. This month also focuses on another kind of tree, our family tree. October is Family History Month. In honor of this topic, this month’s issues focus on tracing your family tree on your lunch break, a new title in our collection, a genealogy program about using DNA for adoption searches, and more.
