SPRING Storywalk® – I Can Fly in the Sky: a story of friends, flight and kites
by Lin Xin

The Indian Trails Library StoryWalk® at Reiner Park (Formerly Green Lake Park) 1101 Green Knolls Dr, Buffalo Grove.

This bilingual kid’s book tells a story of friendship and whimsy in both English and Chinese. The kite, an important symbol in Chinese culture, introduces children to the world’s first flying object and the symbolism behind it.

A StoryWalk combines literacy with physical activity. Start with the welcome post and follow the accessible path to find the next page. Kids will love the anticipation of finding all the story posts and reading a whole book by the end of their walk.
