Upcoming Fall Storywalk® – Tap The Magic Tree by Christie Matheson

Leaf your cares behind and fall into fun with the Indian Trails Library StoryWalk® at Green Lake Park 1101 Green Knolls Dr, Buffalo Grove.

Tap the Magic Tree by Christine Matheson begins with a lonely, bare brown tree. But tap that tree, turn the page, and one bright green leaf has sprouted! Watch how the tree changes from season to season with a little help from you and maybe a little magic, too.

A StoryWalk combines literacy with physical activity. Start with the welcome post and follow the accessible path to find the next page. Kids will love the anticipation of finding all the story posts and reading a whole book by the end of their walk.

Share your experience with the hashtag #greenlakestorywalk.

StoryWalk is a joint project between the Park District of Buffalo Grove and the Indian Trails Library, and proudly funded by the ITPLD Foundation.

The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle and Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg Hubbard Library. StoryWalks have been installed in 50 states and 13 countries.
