Libraries stand together in wake of shootings

Indian Trails Library, Library Barrington Area, Palatine Library, Schaumburg Library, Waukegan Public Library and Gail Borden Library show support for the families and survivors of recent tragedies in El Paso and Dayton. From Reflejos, La Voz Suburbana de los Hispanos.

With the recent tragedies that have affected all the citizens of El Paso and Dayton, our local libraries have come together, to show their support for the families and survivors of these events. Our libraries are the gathering places for a sharing of ideas, knowledge, cultural enlightenment and unending support of each other. These libraries are where we can all learn, not only from the books on the shelves, but from all the experiences they provide, from the classes they teach, to the celebrations of life that they introduce us to. Our sincere ‘Thanks’ for the important place our libraries hold…the role they play in bringing folks from all walks of life together.
