On Wednesday, November 19, the Indian Trails Public Library Board of Trustees passed Resolution No. 2025-11-19, a Resolution prohibiting the use of Library Parking Lots, Grounds and Resources for Civil Immigration Enforcement Staging Areas, Processing Locations, or Operations Bases.
Dear members,
At the Indian Trails Public Library District, our mission is to enhance the community and create opportunities through services, programs and materials. We are a welcoming space for all to visit.
To reaffirm this commitment, the Library Trustee Board recently approved a Resolution prohibiting the use of library property parking lot for Civil Immigration Enforcement.
This action ensures that library district property including parking lots, grounds and resources is not to be used as staging areas or operations bases for immigration enforcement activities.
We embrace culture, connect with the community and ignite curiosity.
Thank you,
Vicki Baba
Board President
