Membership renewalMembership cards expire every three years. You will receive an email notification one month before your card expires. To renew your card, present valid identification at the library and verify account information. Once any fines, lost items or fees you have accrued have been resolved, your card will be renewed.
Your PINUpon registration the library will use the last four digits of your provided telephone number as your PIN. To change your PIN, please visit the “Members Services” desk on the main floor of the library.
- All items may be picked up from the Hold Room near the Circulation desk.
- Items are shelved by last name.
- Members will be notified by phone or email when holds are ready to be picked up.
- Holds will be held for seven days.
Suggest a purchaseTo suggest a purchase for the library, please fill out an online request. You may also stop at the Adult Service desk on the second floor to place your request.
Renew itemsItems may be renewed online through My Account, in person or by phone.
Onlinewww.indiantrailslibrary.org and click on My Account, enter your 14-digit library card number and four digit pin number, click on “Items Checked Out,” check the boxes by each title and click “Renew” at the top of the list, new due dates will be listed. Items that cannot be renewed will show exceptions.
In personPresent your library card to staff at the “Members Services” desk.
By phoneCall our 24-hour automated renewal service at: 847-465-1836 or 847-465-1837 and follow the prompts. Have your library card number and PIN available. You will also need the barcode numbers for all items you wish to renew. Some overdue items will renew, however late fees still apply and will be reflected on your account.
If you are having difficulties renewing items, please call 847-279-2232 during library hours and a staff member will be happy to assist you. You will need your library card number on hand to discuss your account.
Vacation loanVacation loans are available for a period of six weeks on some library materials. Call 847-279-2232 for more information about this service.
Paying fines and feesFines may be paid in person with cash, check, or online with a credit or debit card through e-Pay, or at any self check-out station with a credit or debit card.
