Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources covering a variety of subjects. These reference materials once were accessible only in the library, but now you can access them online from the library or remotely 24/7.

ReferenceUSA - Consists of a directory of American corporate
information. It provides listings of companies by geographic
location, type of business, size of business, and serves
as a reliable source for basic corporate information
such as phone numbers, numbers of employees, sales,
subsidiaries/parents, and officers.

Auto Repair Reference Center - Provides automotive repair information on approximately 25,000 vehicles both domestic and imported from 1945 to the present.

FirstSearch - Offers
a group of databases consisting of books and articles.
The main product is WorldCat, the world’s
largest electronic catalog of library materials.
Using WorldCat, Indian Trails cardholders may submit interlibrary loan requests online and registered users may view the status of their requests.

Record Information Services - Gives you the ability to search key public
records including data about new homeowners, foreclosures,
new businesses and bankruptcies. (Cook, DuPage, DeKalb,
Lake, Kendall, Kane, McHenry and Will counties).

SIRS - The
Social Issues Resource Series, offers articles on social
topics that are often in the news, and also the subject
of school projects/reports. Because these topics are
the focus, SIRS is a useful place to start research.

Novelist - is designed to help fiction readers
discover new books and authors. It also provides book
