Great Decisions Discussion Group

Steve Barack will lead this lively discussion group. The Great Decision’s Discussion Program is the centerpiece of the Foreign Policy Association’s education outreach efforts. The program is centered around the Great Decisions briefing book. Great Decisions covers eight timely global and thematic topics related to U.S. foreign policy. Each topic is written by experts, providing concise yet comprehensive overview of current national debate, historical background and policy options concerning each topic. There is an $15 fee for the book Great Decisions due at time of registration. Registration is required and limited to 35.

Car Care Clinic

When: Thursday November 20th, 2008 - 07:00 PM

There will be many, many, door prizes, including car wash coupon books, BP gas cash cards and much more. Come and learn the ins and outs of auto care from Bob Boho and his expert mechanic staff of Dundee and Wolf Automotive Services. Mr. Boho will be teaching us how to keep our cars up and running, how to handle potential problems, and many more useful tips for routine maintenance. He will discuss changing and maintaining fluid levels, proper usage of jumper cables, tune-ups, brakes, tire and wheel alignment, driving tips and more. Mr. Boho will also answer any and all car-care questions you have. This program is co-sponsored with the Buffalo Grove Park District. Registration is required and limited to 120.
