Substitute Librarian
Provide reference and information services for patrons, in person and by any communications means; provide reader's advisory services or assist other staff in providing Reader’s Advisory; train patrons in use of databases; assist in displaying and highlighting targeted collections.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Library Science; verbal and written communication skills; computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite, Internet searching and site evaluation, effective database searching ability; ability to deal with a wide variety of personality types calmly and positively. The ability to read write, speak, and comprehend English. Ability to read computer screens, type accurately and quickly, and move about the entire public service area. Fluency in a second language preferred.
Hours:
This is an on-call position with no guarantee of specific working hours or shifts. Average working hours may vary greatly.

Experience entering information in a computer using a mouse, keyboard and barcode scanner.

Ability to fluently read, write, speak and comprehend English.
7. Fluency in a second language is preferred.
